The Žvėrinčius (or Žvėrynas) Forest is located at the river loops in Prienai District. The forest retained its former name which reminds of the royal hunts. This tour is a simple route designed for beginners which will captivate you with the beauty of the surrounding nature. The Velniabliūdis trail is a very interesting object of the Žvėrinčius route. As you ride along the trail, you can find out more about the plant communities prevailing in forests and swamps as well as their inherent fauna and flora. Velniabliūdis is the only swamp in the loop of the Nemunas River in Prienai. Also, you may visit the bird watching spot in the north east area of Žvėrinčius.

This is a spectacular route stretching for over 100 km along the seaside and designed specifically for cycling. This track was the first in the country officially recognized as bike trail and marked with special bike trail signs. The route stretches along the entire Lithuanian seaside from Būtingė in the north to Nida in the south. During the entire tour you will ride on beautiful newly paved bike trails. While riding your bike you can discover the exquisite flora and fauna of the Lithuanian seaside. You have a few choices for travelling: from Klaipėda to Būtingė (49 km) or from Klaipėda to Nida along the Curonian Spit (52 km). The firmest ones may try and conquer the entire route of 100 km. Upon advance reservation, we can offer bike rider groups a speed boat trip along the Nemunas River from Jurbarkas to Nida and an overnight stay in Nida.

We recommend this route due its high safety – 90% of the trip is made on the bike trail. During the trip you will be able to see the beautiful castles of Panemunė and the landscapes that can be seen from the banks of the Nemunas River. The trip starts at Jurbarkas Manor and runs along the Nemunas Rive rtoRaudonė Town. While riding the bike you will pass three hill forts which back in the Middle Ages together with the other hill forts and former castle fortifications of the Nemunas Valley made up a unified defense line along the Nemunas. You can take a breather and short rest in the Šilinė Village Inn. There you can sample honey with professional beekeepers in a nearby Valley of Honey (Lith. Medaus Slėnis) tourist camping site (advance reservations required). The trip offers the chance to visit the magnificent Panemunė Castle of Renaissance style and then head on along the road snaking up the Nemunas slope. The trip ends at Raudonė Castle with the breathtaking view of the Nemunas from the defense tower.
Bike tour around Kaunas and its surroundings in various directions. Kaunas is an exuberant, very green and biker friendly city. You can conveniently ride across the center of the city: take the rout along Laisvės Avenue to the Old Town of Kaunas until you reach the confluence of the Nemunas and the Neris, and then ride back along the banks of the Nemunas River. You may also take a ride in Ąžuolynas Park and Panemunė Forest, or ride on the newly paved section of the biking route stretching for 5 km to Lampėdžiai and Kleboniškis and other green zones of the city. We also offer tours to Pažaislis Monastery, Kadagiai Valley and Girionys Parksituated at the outskirts of Kaunas City as well as many other places.
2012 years 22th of June renovated hotel “Babilonas” was opened and now it’s not only hotel, but and eco-tourism center. Kintanti ekonominė situacija ir socialinė aplinka, keičia ir Europos visuomenės gyvenimo būdą, o tai keičia ir turistų poreikius bei elgseną. Aktuali tampa aplinkosauga ir nacionalinis autentiškumas, tuo pačiu mažėja vartotojiško turizmo, orientuoto tik į kičinę pramogą svarba. Turizmo rinkai tai reiškia didesnį susidomėjimą ekoturizmu, natūralia aplinka. Siekdamas patenkinti naujai besiformuojančius turistų poreikius UAB „Babilonas LT“ įgyvendino projektą „Aktyvaus ekoturizmo centro “Babilonas” plėtra“, kurio tikslas sukurti aktyvaus ekoturizmo paslaugų kompleksą. 2010 m. lapkričio mėn. pradėtas įgyvendinti projektas iš dalies finansuojamas Europos regioninės plėtros fondo lėšomis pagal 2007–2013 m. Ekonomikos augimo veiksmų programos priemonę „Turizmo paslaugų (produktų) įvairovės plėtra ir turizmo paslaugų kokybės gerinimas“.
Bendra projekto vertė sudarė 4,8 mln. Lt. Į viešbučio, konferencijų ir restorano salių, bei dviračių nuomos ir priežiūros centro įrengimą UAB „Babilonas LT“ investavo 2,87 mln. Lt, ES struktūrinių fondų parama sudarė 1,93 mln. Lt. Centre įsikūrė jaukus 24 kambarių viešbutis, restoranas, pirtelė, konferencijų salė, kurioje galima organizuoti renginius ir konferencijas iki 60 dalyvių. Svečiams ir visiems dviračių entuziastams įrengtas dviračių nuomos ir remonto punktas. Taip pat siūlomi kompleksiniai dviračių turai aplink vaizdingas Kauno apylinkes. Projekto metu taip pat buvo įgyvendintos rinkodaros priemonės: sukurtas internetinis puslapis, išleisti informaciniai lankstinukai, įrengti reklaminiai stendai, bei nufilmuotas reklaminis klipas. Projektas buvo baigtas 2012 m. gegužės pabaigoje ir aktyvaus ekoturizmocentras jau laukia lankytojų.
Tikimasi, kad dėl naujos turizmo paslaugos atsiradimo bus pritraukti ekoturistai iš Lenkijos, Vokietijos, Danijos, Olandijos, Latvijos. Kadangi ekoturistų pagrindinė vertybė aplinkos pajautimas įvairiu metų laiku, todėl sukurta ekoturizmo vertybes atitinkanti infrastruktūra, bei aktyvaus sveikatingumą skatinančios laisvalaikio praleidimo paslaugos, leis užtikrinti užsienio ir Lietuvos turistų trauką visus metus. Sukurti ekoturizmo paslaugų paketai (apimantys dvi ir daugiau dienas) užtikrins turistų ilgesnę viešnagę Lietuvoje.
